What Makes A "Good Dad" Today?
A new video series explores the joys and pressures of modern fatherhood
Hi Readers! and I have been doing a lot of interviews about our new book Talk To Your Boys, and one of the questions we’ve been getting a lot is about the role of fathers in the modern world. This is a question that filmmaker Joseph Gidjunis explores from many angles in his excellent 5-part docuseries Grown Up Dad. Gidjunis says he is determined to be a more present and engaged father than his own, and he’s trying to figure out how to do that. He seeks guidance from experts and fellow dads on the challenges of parenting today, “from navigating screen time obsession with his son to redefining modern masculinity, friendship, and loneliness.” You can watch all five episodes right here - I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

P.S. Please remember to pre-order our book (it’s really important) and/or plan to come to one of our launch events in San Francisco or Santa Monica.
